How we help
Providing you with the practical help and guidance you need for a successful school ski trip, our team of experts are on-hand every step of the way.
We understand that organising and running a school ski trip can seem a daunting experience, which is why at SkiBound we have fine-tuned our service to support Party Leaders through every step of the process, from initial contact to coming home from a week on the slopes. We have over 30 years of experience in ski tours operating to UK schools, which means we have been able to build up the experience required to successfully provide you with access to great ski resorts through Europe and North America, accommodation suitable for school groups and the best rates on group travel.
From advice on completing health and safety paperwork, providing information on the financial protection we have in place and access to our 24-hour phone support line to promotional tools, help with in-resort educational enrichment opportunities and reasonable prices to meet your budget, we work to create the ideal school ski tour. With Local Education Authorities (LEAs) and governing bodies continuing to refuse school trips with companies that do not hold the appropriate accreditations, you can be sure SkiBound meets all the necessary requirements allowing you to book with confidence.
Your safety is our priority
Our health and safety department is the best in the business. We have in place auditing processes across each area of your tour including accommodation, ski equipment and transport services. As a full member of the School Travel Forum (STF), we are independently audited each year to ensure we maintain our high levels of good practice and safety.
Help with health and safety paperwork
At SkiBound, we give you advice on how to complete your specific risk assessments and health and safety paperwork, including any required by your LEA or governing body. We can arrange inspection visits for school Party Leaders ahead of your school ski trip, covering the cost of a one-day ski pass, ski hire and two nights’ accommodation based on a twin room and half board basis, subject to availability. The cost of flights and car hire is excluded and the second person is subject to cost. Please contact your SkiBound representative to find out more.
Unrivalled financial security
We can offer your group the highest level of financial protection across the school travel market. As well as being a member of the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO), all of our school ski tours are fully bonded by ABTA and ATOL, protecting your ski group against unforeseen events.
Trip safety
Resources include full emergency procedures and protocols, access to senior management and other independent experts, along with the most up-to-date information as and when you need it.
Party leaders will have access to trained staff through our 24-hour support phone line. Accident and incident reports are completed, reviewed and kept for all incident levels.
Comprehensive insurance
We offer Public, Products and Tour Operators travel insurance that includes £10,000,000 Party Leader liability insurance and is specifically designed for school ski trips matching most LEAs’ requirements.

Our SkiBound team have explored many of our ski resorts, have in-resort experience and are experts in school travel overseas.
