Situated in the province of Tyrol, the SkiWelt represents Austria’s largest interconnecting ski area. Linking Brixen to Westendorf, groups can benefit from the area’s well-placed investments on the extensive lift system. Featuring gondolas and modern-style efficient chairlifts, some with heated seats, students will be able to enjoy easy and speedy access to the top of the mountain. With 280kms of skiable pistes to choose from, there is a great variety of gradients to suit your students. Despite the heavy investment, there is no doubting the authentic Tyrolean villages of Soll, Scheffau, Westendorf and Hopfgarten which epitomise this traditional Austrian destination.
On the slopes
School ski trips to SkiWelt represent ideal value for money for those wishing to cover as many miles of skiable terrain across a variety of resorts. An extensive amount of snowmaking equipment practically guarantees blanket coverage ensuring your students can enjoy the slopes all the way up to the final lift of the day. There is a great choice of nursery slopes for those looking to find their feet, while beginners will be pleased to know there are over 100kms of easy runs to explore. As your students progress within the ski schools, the slopes open up to progressive blues and challenging reds with almost 130kms of intermediate trails to choose from. Advanced skiers have over 10kms of black runs to discover before boarders and freestyle skiers dive into the 3 fun parks that offer up a wealth of jumps, rails and kickers.
