Why choose this resort?

We are delighted to be able to once again offer skiing in the well-known Val di Sole. With an excellent natural snow record and north and east-facing slopes, school ski trips to Marilleva & Folgarida are a favourite for many UK schools.

One of our accommodation options in Dimaro allows easy access to the Folgarida ski area (8km from Folgarida). We also offer a doorstep skiing hotel in Marilleva 1400 allowing you to be on the slopes in no time. Our standard lift pass is for Marilleva and Folgarida, offering a perfect range of skiing for school parties. The ski hire in Folgarida includes ski lockers, allowing easy access to your equipment and the slopes.

Hot lunches can also be reserved on the mountain for our groups. For groups wanting to explore the slopes of neighbouring Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, ski pass extensions are available at a supplement.

On the slopes

Folgarida provides an excellent starting point for beginners, with a range of gentle blue runs. There is also a range of great intermediate runs and strong skiers will test themselves on the famous “Nera Folgarida” black slope, one of the most challenging in the entire ski area, which takes you down to the centre of the resort. Excellent natural snow and ski school provision combine with a terrific range of skiing and evening entertainment options for school parties. No wonder we are so pleased to once again be offering this option to SkiBound groups.
